Innoptix, Rayner’s digital arm, has introduced Eyejourney, a personalized, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered patient education platform that is available in multiple languages and is designed to bring clarity, consistency, and confidence to every stage of ophthalmic care, the company said in a press release.
According to the press release, Eyejourney provides a clinic-branded digital journey that guides patients through their care, using AI-generated video content to deliver patient education for all ophthalmic procedures. In addition, the platform allows surgeons to create personalized videos, from an extensive library of templates, using their own digital avatars.
Patients build familiarity from the very start of their journey—and can have their questions answered by their clinician even after the consultation ends. Clinics retain full control through a user-friendly dashboard, including the ability to track drop compliance, obtain electronic consent, and monitor engagement with education, the press release stated.
