John D. Sheppard, MD, MMSC (Moderator)
is president of Virginia Eye Consultants. He is a professor, research director for the ophthalmology residency program, and clinical director of the Thomas R. Lee Center for Ocular Pharmacology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He also serves as medical director with the Lions Medical Eye Bank and Research Center of Eastern Virginia.
Patti Barkey, COE
is the CEO/administrator of Bowden Eye & Associates in Jacksonville, FL, and the director of Dry Eye University.
Neel R. Desai, MD
is the director of cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery and director of the Center for Ocular Surface Disease at The Eye Institute of West Florida.
Cynthia Matossian, MD, FACS
is the founder and CEO of Matossian Eye Associates, with locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Temple University; a clinical instructor at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey; and a clinical instructor for the American Academy of Family Physicians.
George O. Waring IV, MD, FACS
is the founder and medical director of the Waring Vision Institute in Mt. Pleasant, SC. At the Medical University of South Carolina, he is an associate professor, director of refractive surgery for the Storm Eye Institute, and medical director for the Magill Vision Center. Dr. Waring is also an adjunct assistant professor at Clemson University.
