CARL ZEISS MEDITEC RESCAN 700
1 The Rescan 700, from Zeiss, is an intraoperative OCT system. The Rescan 700 is designed to allow surgeons to view below the surface of the surgical field as well as transparent structures in the anterior and posterior segment of the eye. The high-definition OCT images are integrated with the company’s Lumera 700 microscope and appear directly in the eyepiece. The device allows surgeons to view preoperative OCT structural info as well as monitor progress and verify results during procedures.

CENTERVUE EIDON
2 The Eidon true-color confocal scanner, from CenterVue, is an automated retinal imaging system. Eidon’s combination of confocal imaging and white light illumination helps provide contrast and quality imaging, the company says. The device’s optics allow imaging of the central retina and periphery over a viewing angle of up to 110 degrees. Users operate the device via its dedicated software application, which is operated as a standalone unit via a digital tablet. Eidon can be operated automatically or manually, with or without pupil dilation.

LACRIVERA VERAPLUG
3 VeraPlug Punctal Occluder, from Lacrivera, a division of Stephens Instruments, is intended for chronic dry eye treatment. Available in small, medium and large size options, the VeraPlug is packaged and preloaded on a sterile, disposable inserter/dilator. VeraPlug features a low-profile dome designed for patient comfort and a proprietary shaft design to aid insertion and fit, the company says.
