BAUSCH + LOMB BLIS™
Bausch + Lomb has launched an enhanced BLIS reusable injector system for its enVista IOL. B + L, after gaining feedback from users, joined forces with technicians and surgeons to improve the system’s functionality and design. These included the idea to soften and tumble-polish the tip, thereby creating a more refined design which produces less resistance and force in delivering the IOL.
The company introduced the BLIS system last year. BLIS is designed to give surgeons smooth, controlled delivery of the glistening-free enVista hydrophobic IOL through an unenlarged phaco incision as small as 2.2 mm.
