SL-3G SLIT LAMP
Topcon Medical Systems
■ The SL-3G slit lamp features a stereoscopic converging microscope and innovative optics that provide the practitioner with fatigue-free viewing and crystal-clear images, says Topcon. Magnifications can be changed between 1x to 1.6x using a conveniently located lever. A powerful 6V, 20W halogen bulb provides even, consistent illumination for extended observation, the company says.
Resembling natural daylight, the halogen illumination ensures optimum color rendition and allows for narrower slit apertures for detailed observation, Topcon says. The SL-3G also includes the company's patented omni-directional control lever. Additional features include a 20° slit beam inclination for added versatility in gonioscopy and fundus observation, four built-in filters to facilitate special exams, continuous adjustment of slit aperture and an angular measurement scale that simplifies the fitting of astigmatic contact lenses.
