STAR S4
VISX
The STAR S4 features Variable Spot Scanning (VSS). Adjustable beam size conserves tissue and reduces treatment times compared with fixed small-spot lasers.
The STAR S4 reduces decentered ablations by pausing if the patient's eye moves 1.5 mm in any direction from the established center point, resuming ablation only after the eye has returned to within acceptable limits.
