CARRIAZO-PENDULAR

At the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting, Schwind Eye-Tech Solutions presented a new microkeratome designed by Cesar Carriazo, M.D.

The Carriazo-Pendular microkeratome features a ball-shaped surface, which distributes pressure mainly to the center of the eye. This ball-shaped surface protects the corneal center.

The Carriazo-Pendular microkeratome is under clinical investigation.
