Marketing expert Stanley Joseph points out that your practice brochure is a very important tool for making an impression on prospective patients. He suggests that you give your brochure more impact by including pictures and visuals, such as:
- A map to your practice location(s).
- An attractive shot of the exterior and interior of your building and signage, if appropriate.
- Headshots of all physicians. Don't include staff unless you're sure that they're not leaving any time soon.
- Patients undergoing procedures on your high-tech equipment. (They must sign a release form giving you permission to use these shots.)
- Photographs that represent your patients' lifestyles. If your practice serves an older clientele, for example, include photographs of seniors interacting with their families, in the midst of activities, or traveling.
