- high corneal astigmats
- irregular astigmats (even mild asymmetrical astigmats see better with RGPs)
- kerataconus patients
- post-penetrating keratoplasty patients
- keratomileusis patients
- young progressive myopes
- dry eye patients
- post refractive surgery patients
- presbyopes with critical visual demands
- very high mypopes and very high hyperopes
- patients who work in dry climates (for example, airline stewards and stewardesses)
- any patient who prefers crisp vision.
