• high corneal astigmats
• irregular astigmats (even mild asymmetrical astigmats see better with RGPs)
• kerataconus patients
• post-penetrating keratoplasty patients
• keratomileusis patients
• young progressive myopes
• dry eye patients
• post refractive surgery patients
• presbyopes with critical visual demands
• very high mypopes and very high hyperopes
• patients who work in dry climates (for example, airline stewards and stewardesses)
• any patient who prefers crisp vision.
