Beyeonics Vision announced that Beyeonics One, now featuring invisible light based on infrared night-vision technology, will be launched during AAO 2024 in Chicago.
Beyeonics One now integrates infrared illumination, offering visualization improvements to help optimize surgical outcomes and elevate the patient's experience, the company said in a press release.
Beyeonics One allows surgeons to perform complex procedures with greater confidence due to improvements in depth of field, tissue definition and resolution, the company said. In addition, the invisible infrared illumination reduces eye strain and discomfort for patients.
According to the company, Beyeonics One infrared technology penetrates dense cataracts, hemorrhages and cloudy corneas, offering a clear visual pathway. The device also eliminates the need for Trypan blue or other dyes, further streamlining procedures, the company said.
