If you look at the history forms of your refractive surgery patients, youll probably see that most of them are contact lens dropouts. Dr. Robert Cykiert says he noticed this trend about 3 years ago and finds that having a large percentage of contact lens patients in his practice ultimately provides laser-assisted in situ keratmileusis (LASIK) or photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) candidates.
